Summer Camp - Dates and Fees

At the last PLC the boys voted on attending summer camp at Camp Rotary in Clare, MI. Click HERE for more info about the camp. Because of the camp being booked our desired week and due to boys being involved in baseball playoffs the following week, the date of summer camp has been moved to July 27-August 2nd.

The good news is that our camp cost will be the lowest since 2004 at $240 per scout and $60 per adult (scoutmaster is free). Based on payments required by the Scout Council, the following payment plan has been developed and we wanted to distribute this as soon as possible so you can put this in your household budgets & vacation schedules.

Scouts
First payment of $110 due at February 26th Troop Meeting or can be paid anytime before than
Second payment of $65 due at April 1st Troop Meeting
Final payment of $65 due at April 29th Troop Meeting

Adults
First payment of $30 due at February 26th Troop Meeting
Final payment of $30 due at April 29th Troop Meeting

If you have additional questions please contact Mr. Vertel

Service Hours - Saturday January 5th

To Troop 1610:

As a reminder, the Royal Oak Nature Society will be lining trails at Tenhave woods within Quickstad Park (behind Royal Oak High School) this Saturday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Our Troop has a history of serving the Royal Oak Nature Society in such projects, so please attend to obtain additional service hours.
The logs we will be moving this Saturday are smaller than the previous trail lining project. I look forward to seeing you there.
