Summer Camp Update

To Summer Camp Participants:

Please be at the church by 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 27th in your Class A uniform.

We need to pack the trailer with Troop and/or personal gear.

We also take a Troop picture before we leave for summer camp. We plan on leaving the church by 10:00 a.m.

Please remember to put any medications in a plastic storage bag with your name on it.

The Troop will provide a taco lunch at camp on Sunday afternoon.

The camp is collecting merit badge "blue cards" Sunday night. Please have all your merit badge "blue cards" completed and signed off by me before then.

Summer Camp - Medications

If you stated on any of the medical forms that you or your son is taking prescription or over-the-counter medication please do the following:

Place the medication in a quart size plastic bag. For prescription medications make sure the medication is in its original container which includes dosage directions.
For over-the-counter medication please include a permission slip for all scouts indicating when the medication should be given. For adults just indicate the appropriate dosage.
By doing this the check-in process will be helped significantly.

Thank You

Larry Vertel

Ice Cream Social Sunday August 10th

Troop 1610:

The First Congregational Church is having its Ice Cream Social on Sunday, August 10th from 3:00 to 5:30. The church has asked for Scouts to volunteer from the Troop to help set up (1:30 to 2:00), assist during the event and clean-up afterward. We need at least six Scouts to volunteer to help.

Please let Mr. Pitchford know if you can provide some service hours to support our chartering organization.

The church has invited the Troop (including all family members of the
Scouts) to attend the Ice Cream Social.

Sincerely,
Mark Pitchford
