April 17-19 Hiking, Biking & Scout Skills campout

Hiking, Biking & Scout Skills campout at Brighton Recreation Area.
This is a tent campout. Payments must be made no later than the March 24th Troop Meeting.

HERE is the permission slip which is due, will full payment, at the January 6th troop meeting.

March 13-15 Hiking & Outdoor Cooking campout

Hiking & Outdoor Cooking campout at Bald Mountain Recreation Area.
This is a cabin campout. Payments must be made no later than the February 10th Troop Meeting.

February 13-15 - Winter Activities campout

Winter Activities campout at Wolcott Mills & Stoney Creek Metroparks.
This is a cabin campout that is taking place on the weekend before the schools' winter break. Please note that this cabin is limited to 34 beds so beds will be reserved on a first paid, first reserved basis. Payment must be made no later than January 20th Troop meeting.

Summer Camp Update!

Dates - July 12-18, 2009
Scout Cost - $290
Adult Cost - $130

To help with budgeting the following payment plan has been created:

February 15th - $100 payment for each scout attending
March 15th - $100 payment for each scout attending & $65 payment for each adult attending
April 15th - $90 payment for each scout attending & $65 payment for each adult attending

Information on the requirements for physicals forms etc will be available soon.

Sea Base 2008 Slide Show Night - Message from Mr. Manidok

"The Sea Base 2008 Slide Show"


Finally here... "The Sea Base 2008 Slide Show" will be held during a troop meeting January 13th..... 8pm in the large social hall at First Congregational Church of Royal Oak.
All parents of the troop are welcomed and encouraged to attend... Even if you son did not attend Sea Base this is a good opportunity to see what he can participate in Scouting down the road!

Ski Trip payments due Jan 6th

For those of you who signed up for the ski campout, please bring the balance owed to the next Troop meeting on January 6th. Your balance due will be determined by if you are skiing and also if you are renting skis, less any deposit you have made. The total cost is listed on page 2 of the attached permission slip, that you need to sign and also bring in on the 6th.

Also, if you have not yet reserved a spot, there is still space available. You can bring in your payment and the permission slip to the January 6th meeting.
