Service Hours - Royal Oak Nature Society

As a reminder, service hours for the Royal Oak Nature Society ("RONS") will be available on Sunday, April 26th from 1:00PM to 3:00 PM at Tenhave Woods. Tenhave Woods is at the intersection of Lexington and Marias (east of Royal Oak High School ).

The RONS is relocating wildflowers from trails, so bring work gloves, shoes that can get muddy, and a hand tool that can be used to dig up wildflowers. If you bring a plastic grocery bag, you will be able to take some wildflowers home with you.

This event is subject to cancellation by the RONS if it is raining or very windy.

Summer Camp - UPDATE

The final summer camp payment was due on April 15th. Jim Habrowski stated he has approximately $1400 in outstanding balances due. Jim will be clearing out any balances in scout accounts and be distributing an e-mail to let everyone know their status (paid in full or balance due). Mr. Vertel will be sending the payment to the camp at the beginning of May and the Troop will not advance funds, so if your balance is not paid prior to the final due date at camp, you may be assessed the late payment penalty
Please look for Jim's e-mail so you can take the appropriate action.

May Campout - Golf!

The May campout is a tent campout at Kensington Metropark with the theme being golf.
The campout will include a 9 hole round of golf.

The cost is $20 per scout and $20 per adult if golfing. If the adult is not golfing than there is no cost.

Please bring in the permission slip HERE and payment by next Tuesday's (April 28th) Troop meeting.
We need to call the golf course with numbers so they can assign a tee time for us, and with a larger group is difficult to be adding people because they paid after the requested date, so bring your payment in next week.
