Service Hours - January 23

The Royal Elks Club (Stephenson south of 11 Mile) has asked the Troop for a color guard to participate as part of an award ceremony to occur on Saturday, January 23, 2010. The ceremony will start at 6:30 p.m., so Scouts should arrive around 6:10 to organize and prepare the color guard. This ceremony may include several different historic flags and a short reading about each flag. Each Scout or Scouter attending is invited to stay for the dinner, which will follow the ceremony.

So far, the following Scouts have volunteered: T.J. , Nick , Nareg , and Andrew W. I would like at least six Scouts total to attend. Participating in events that the community requests from our Troop is a great way for Older Scouts to show Scout Spirit in giving back to the community.
