Meeting Notes for February!

MAKE A NOTE OF THE ITEMS YOU SHOULD BRING AND THE PEOPLE WHO SHOULD ATTEND EACH MEETING
The Troop will merge the Panther/Sharks and Beaver/Snake patrols into one patrol effective immediately.  We will defer the Scout leadership positions to the Panther/Sharks to maintain leadership position for advancement
February 2, 2010 Meeting:  (BRING YOUR ALUMINUM CANS AND EXTRAS FOR SCOUTS THAT MAY NOT HAVE ANY)
Make Alcohol stoves using aluminum cans (pet food cans of different sizes that will fit inside one another); Wilderness Survival instruction for Scouts personal gear needed for upcoming winter camping (Nathan Vertel and Evan Manidok volunteered to lead this and provide a checklist for each Scout);  Move Patrol Box Handles; Patrol Time (work on final Scout Sunday planning);
February 9, 2010 Meeting: (BRING YOUR SCOUT BOOKS AND MERIT BADGE MATERIALS)
Advancement Night:   Merit Badges:  Communications; Cit. in the Community; Personal Management; and Emergency Preparation.
Scouts up to First Class working on Scout skills.  Older Scouts sign off on skill requirements as needed.
February 16, 2010 Meeting:  (BRING YOUR PERSONAL GEAR FOR WINTER CAMPING)
Scouts to bring in their personal gear for winter camping equipment and gear inspection.  Any Scout without the right equipment will have a checklist of items to address prior to the campout.  (Evan Manidok to prepare checklist)
February 23, 2010 Meeting:  (BRING YOUR PARENT(S))
FOS and Summer Camp Preparation.   Dave Goetz to present, if available.  Parents should attend to find out about summer camp and attend the FOS presentation.
