Tomorrow night we will have a High Adventure meeting for all those interested in attending Northern Tier /  Boundary Waters Canoeing High Adventure in Ely, MN the summer of 2011. Just a reminder that the $50 deposit for scouts for Summer Camp is due at the March 23rd Troop meeting.  The total cost is $250, but if deposits are made after March 30th, your cost will increase by $20, to $270 except for new Webelos who are just joining our Troop. There is an important program that will happen on Thurs, Jan 21st at the Royal Oak Library, "The Science of Brain Addiction". Any scout that needs requirement 8A for their second class rank should plan to attend. This presentation will satisfy this requirement for attending a program about the dangers of alcohol, drugs and tobacco. It is free and will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

The Royal Elks Club (Stephenson south of 11 Mile) has asked the Troop for a color guard to participate as part of an award ceremony to occur on Saturday, January 23, 2010.
