"The Sea Base 2008 Slide Show" Finally here... "The Sea Base 2008 Slide Show" will be held during a troop meeting January 13th..... 8pm in the large social hall at First Congregational Church of Royal Oak. This is a fundraiser for the troop where we need everyone's help. For several years the troop has helped a setup and take down tables etc for a local stamp collectors show. It is easy work for a couple of hours if we get a good turnout. This weeks troop meeting is a bowling night at Hartfield Lanes in Berkley. Hartfield lanes is located on 12 mile between Coolidge and Greenfield on the north side of the road. Fees are $8 for Scouts and adults and includes 2 slices of Pizza and Pop. A Permission Slip is required to participate and should have arrived via Email.

At Tuesday's troop meeting the boys were presented with 3 options for summer camp. One was in Indiana, one was in Ohio and one was in Michigan. After a small presentation and some questions we followed the democratic process and took a vote. Camp Frontier in Pioneer, Ohio was the overwhelming choice. This camp had the most merit badges of all three, including a large number of badges required

All: I have just confirmed with the wreath supplier, that they will be delivering the wreaths to my home before Noon tomorrow (Friday). This means that anyone can pick up their wreath orders sometime after Noon as I will be home all day into the evening. The First Congregational Church would like the Scouts to assist with the annual rummage sale. The church would like help tonight from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm setting up the books, which is approximately the same time as tonight's committee meeting. Friday they need help between 5-9pm and on Saturday they need people between 7am and about 2pm, so whenever someone is available, they can find a spot doing something!
